Cops: Man Takes Fire Truck on Joyride

He paid the toll when he crossed the Blue Water Bridge, but Martin Chalker is still in trouble with authorities on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border.

Police say Chalker, 35, broke into a fire truck parked at the Canada Customs compound in Point Edward, Ontario, on Sunday morning.

Chalker drove the truck belonging to the London, Ontario, Fire Department out of the compound, paid the toll and crossed the bridge. U.S. customs officers in Port Huron stopped Chalker and told him to park the truck at an inspection area, but he kept going . . .
