VANITY--Laundry Question
me | June 23 2005 | grellis

Just a simple question for my FReepin' frineds: What is the best way to intentionally shrink 100% cotton?

I was given two summer dresses for my birthday, both of which are about 1/2 size too large. They are 100% cotton with a pretty tight weave--almost denim to the touch. The directions say to wash cold, tumble dry warm. Help!

...or include red socks in with the dresses. Every so often I do that to my underwear.

I don't want to be flashing folks when I haven't really got the esentials for flashing--that's why I'm trying for a closer fit.

Safety pins.

No wonder teenage girls are looking to get implants! It is the only way their clothes will fit properly.

Teenage girls have put on a lot of weight in the last 10 years. They didn't even have "Girls Size 16" when we were kids! Fat accumulates in the chest, as well as elsewhere.

Use Woolite for darks. It should help protect the dark colored dress. The Khaki, lighter should have less problem with noticeable fading.

I'd was them separately to stop chance of color bleeding.
