Does anyone REALLY believe for one moment, that IF even a fraction of this nonsense were true, that the 'Rats and their liberal/left accomplices would not be screaming it from the highest rooftops, the lamestream media would be blasting this on a GLOBAL scale, and it would be a universal news story that EVERYone would know about.

This conspiracy crapola has been around forever, and if you dig deep enough, you'll run into another crowd that claims that special streamlined railroad cars have been constructed in Ohio(?) with shackles in them for some sort of sinister, latter day 'American Auschwitz' operation.

And then there are the 'red' lists and the 'blue' lists and all sorts of 'lists' of suspected subversives.

The fact that the Bush Administration continues to allow our southern border to be violated with impunity tells me that they are not at all concerned about our territorial integrity, let alone preparing for some massive roundup and activation of modern prison camps within the continental U.S.

What would bring about a situation that would call into effect the need for these new prison facilities? A man-made or natural catastrophe? An earthquake, panic due to Y2K, a massive poisoning, a panic of such dimensions to cause nationwide panic?

As I understood these camps, Clinton was behind them, he used FEMA to set up for martial law.

As I recall, it was FEMA's plans that were the foundation of the new Homeland Security Department.

You almost never hear of FEMA in the news today, but when
Clinton was in office, they were in the news hourly.

I forget the exact meaning of FEMA, it is something like
Federal Emergency Maps and before Clinton took office, it was where one could buy things like the latest projected flood zone maps.

I heard over and over, that the camps were to hold members of the militia.

I have heard recently, that they are to be used if the Feds need to evacuate an area after a WMD strike.

Do they exist? Yes, and also closed prisons and old military bases would be used.

They have been used in the past and will be again.

Everyone talks of the Japanese we placed in the camps, few know that there were also prison camps for the German soldiers that were captured and brought here, till the war was over.

My husband was a guard in a German prison camp, after he was
rescued in Germany from a German POW camp. Montana as I recall. He was too sick, for years, from a bullet through his lung, so the Army made him a guard here.

So, are they real, yes, I think so. The purpose would be for the "need of the day". Earthquake or war, who knows?

FEMA is the Federal Emergency Management Agency. It's been in existence for a whiel, at least since President Nixon. FEMA Web site. They've got a lot of safety and preparedness information there. After September 11, 2001, they were wrapped into the Department of Homeland Security.

Yep. A lot of them were down South, too. Camp Perry, in Ohio, was also a POW camp. Nowadays people pay good money to stay in the POW huts, during the National Rifle and Pistol Matches.

Of course, the majority of the Japanese placed in camps by the U.S. Government without trial were U.S. citizens, unlike the German POWs who were not U.S. citizens.

It is not operating as a prison at the moment but is masquerading as part of a water facility. Now why would there be a facility of this nature out in the middle of nowhere with absolutely no prisoners?

Currently, the largest of these facilities is just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. The Alaskan facility is a massive mental health facility and can hold approximately 2 million people. What on Earth is he talking about! I live in Fairbanks, lived on Wainwright for many years and still work there today.There's nothing on Wainwright. Nothing as far as the eye can see - and that's far - from my house on the hill. We don't have 2 milion people in the whole state! Whoo-hoo!
