if you can take away the incentive for these people to try to get into this country, IMO, you start to turn the tide on the issue.

There is no ONE singular solution to fix illegal immigration. Also, we do not have to be violent about it. But I do think that if you make it so that the penalties are so severe to the EMPLOYERS OF illegal immigrants that they wouldnt want to risk being caught, it gives US the advantage for a change because right now the illegals have the initiative.

We tried this in the law in 1986, but it was not enforced. Which is why I'd like to see now some of our many troops parked in europe, etc.etc.etc. put into good use on our borders!

The first duty of any gov't is/should be to protect our country from invasion!
