Sometimes I lay away at night and think about all the the things I've done which I regret.
This is no fun.
Close to the top of the list is turning down an invitation to go to the "Sadie Hawkins" dance with the class nerd when I was in the eighth grade. She was homely, but her main problem was that she had an IQ of about 180.
I first accepted. I quite liked her.
The other boys razzed me to the point where I canceled.
If I had that to do over again, I would get the nicest corsage of any. I'd pin it on her.
I thought about voting for a democrat once. I didn't do it but ever since I thought it, I have regretted it.
LOL! That's why I like like blondes!
If you need support FReepmail me and we can talk.
Why did you have to bring this up? (Sigh).......if I could live my life over again, I wouldn't have treated some people the way I did. That's why I taught my children NEVER to make fun of or disrespect those who were less fortunate than they and they learned the lesson well. They are wonderful, giving young adults so maybe my actions have been vindicated to a point. I was just a rotten kid......what else can I say? :(

This was the 60's. I don't think they have them anymore.

Thank you. You are right.
Fwiw, I have been working on it. The problem is that it's like a boomerang. I can't throw it off to someone else. It keeps coming back to me.
So, we'll deal with it that way.
Just out of curiousity, why are you 2527?
I am "the other harry" because there was was already another harry on a newsgroup I was posting to. I decided to keep it.
When I played baseball, my jersey # was 25. The day of my birth is 27.
I know what you mean. There was a guy in my class that all the popular girls made fun of. I just watched and laughed, but I did pass around the things that the girls took from him and and laughed at that too (like a condom). The one girl used to do things like pin notes on the back of his chair, take his notebook and dump it before he left class and things like that. I had known the guy since grade school and should have stopped it, but I didn't.
I'm really going to miss you, Harry. Godspeed!
