Have a great time at the wx conference. Do they have exhibitor booths at those things with lots of gizmos? I need a new anemometer. My pathetic little one blew off during Dennis--no kidding. Maybe they'll have a pencil with a little whirlygig on the end of it...

This is the first one we have done through easternuswx.com. We have about 95 people coming, and 5 meteorologists giving presentations... not bad for a start. I'm sure ones in the future will be bigger (if I can convince the main people in charge that it's worth it). One of the doorprizes this year is a weather station. :) The person who owns the site also sells wx equipment, I'll have to pass on that good idea to him.
