There is actually a 92L and now a 93L. 92L is not looking as hot as it did, but 93L (closer to the african coast, looks quite ominous)... I think Cape Verde season might be about to get underway.

And look out... you think you have seen some big storms already this year? With 29-31C (84-88F) temps all the way across... many places in and around the GOM near or above 90F now (outside the upwelling), we are going to see some monsters from Cape Verde if the upper air pattern remains favorable.
