I would like it to be within, say 90 minutes of Philadelphia. We would need rentals as well. Thanks.

Is I-95 close by? Lots of room, with moving obstacles. =)

Thanks... I'm more interested in personal experiences and recommendations than in just listings of places. If you have firsthand knowledge, I'd like to know it.

I don't know what level you play at, but Skirmish in Jim Thorpe is always a good bet for beginners. It's a tad expensive, especially the paint, but they keep things under control. They've also been in business for many years.
In NJ, the NJ Paintball Club in Butler is good, but I don't know if they're still around.
Oh, and I used to play with the folks at Top Gun in Jackson, and I've heard good things about them.
Skirmish and Top Gun have websites.

There is a place on Route 100 (also Route 29 for that particular stretch), and out 15-20 minutes north of Pottstown, a bit past Grandview Speedway. It's real run down looking so it should be perfect.
