I apparently need help with TrackPass, which I just signed up for.

It says practice was supposed to start at 2:30ET, which was over 30 minutes ago. But no times are showing up?

It's likely they're under a rain delay (there's plenty of rain in the area); usually when there's a practice going on, they'll put a link to the Live Leaderboard "coverage" on the main NASCAR.com page.

Cup-whacking this weekend - Martin Truex Jr, Mike Skinner, Kenny Wallace, Jimmy Spencer, Bobby Hamilton Sr and Tony Raines

Busch-whacking this weekend - Ron Hornaday, Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards (though I hardly consider trying to run every race in the season to be Busch-whacking), Mike Wallace and Robert Pressley

Truck-whacking this weekend - Mike Wallace (yes, he's triple-dipping), Ken Schrader and Johnny Sauter (don't think I'll include the recently-released Tim Fedewa).

Interesting; more Cup-whackers than anything else this weekend :-)

From NASCAR.COM

Indy practice rained out

Rain pelted the Indianapolis Motor Speedway all day Friday, causing NASCAR officals to cancel all track activity. The Nextel Cup cars will now have two practices Saturday morning before Bud Pole Qualifying at 3:10 p.m. ET

Update on the #10/MB2 announcement - Checkers/Rally's will be the primary sponsor of the #10 for 5 races this year; no announcements on either them or Scott Riggs for '06.

I wonder if they'll go full-impound (that's the time that Happy Hour was scheduled for).

I notice there's no news on the Truck race scheduled for 8:30 Eastern on Speed.

Oh boy I can hardly wait for the Jr-Truex-Kenseth dynasty.

My only question for the soap opera audience is, who will be Kenseth's crewchief......does Reiser go with him?

All together now YESSSS!!!!!!!!!

All speculation of course (just 'cause it is fun!) --

Junior said in an interview he likes Hmiel as a crew chief, but hinted he was needed more in other areas of DEI. That opens door for Junior to go back to Eury, Jr. and his old #8 crew. It also leaves an opening at the helm of the old #15 crew (current #8 crew) for Riser as chief, and Robot as driver.

Robot was not believable on Trackside, saying all is hunk-dory with him and Roush. Everyone was laughing when he said it, including himself. Even Rusty pointed out that things are askew when the owner is no longer consulting you about team changes. And Kenseth is supposed to be Senior Driver on the team after MM is gone? I think Roush is putting his chips behind Rubberhead. The only genuineness was when Robot was talking about being partnered with Riser.

NOTE: Trackpass has a video of Biffle and Rubberhead talking about how great everything is at Roush. Where was Robot? (I tried to play the video to see if he was in it, but it wouldn't play.)

DEI's Richie Gilmore says he has a two week window for everything to come down. I wouldn't be surprised DEI and Roush are already talking about a buy-out of Robot's contract.

It just all makes too much sense.

If in two weeks DEI announces they have signed Leffler or SlowCasey, and it wasn't Robot, I will be so angry I will drink a six-pack of Coors Light!
