Top team chemistry killers

Kevin Hench / FOXSports.com Posted: 11 hours ago

T.O.'s poisoning of the well in Philadelphia got me thinking about other legendary chemical imbalances that teams have suffered through. With that in mind, here is a list of ten team chemistry killers.

1. Terrell Owens, Philadelphia Eagles 2. Barry Bonds, San Francisco Giants 3. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers 4. John Rocker, Atlanta Braves 5. Reggie Jackson, New York Yankees 6. Terry Glenn, New England Patriots 7. Roy Keane, Republic of Ireland 8. Mike Greenwell, Boston Red Sox 9. Keyshawn Johnson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10. Manny Ramirez, Boston Red Sox

1. Terrell Owens, Philadelphia Eagles

The T.O. goodwill tour rolls on. After running afoul of Steve Mariucci and suggesting that quarterback Jeff Garcia was gay — "if it looks like a rat and smells like a rat" — in San Francisco, Owens forced a trade out of town.

He swung through Baltimore just long enough to alienate another set of would-be teammates and fans by refusing to play there and insisting he be dealt to Philadelphia.

In Philly, T.O.'s on-field brilliance has been exceeded only by his off-field boorishness. Let's face it, the guy is a jackass. Does he deserve more money? Of course. Have his antics improved his chances of getting it? Not likely.

While his Super Bowl performance was probably one of the five greatest physical achievements in football history, his subsequent behavior has negated all the good will he might have enjoyed in the City of Conditional Love.

If the Vikes get to the SB this year his status as a disruption will only increase.

While his Super Bowl performance was probably one of the five greatest physical achievements in football history,

It was good, but within the 5 greatest, "probably", is the operative word here...B.S.!

Professoinal sports no longer interest me.

I'll go to a game, maybe, if given great tickets.

And then mostly to check out the babes and people watch.

Pro sports ain't what it used to be.

Manny is such a knucklehead that he seems NOT to effect Team Chemistry - meanwhile, Petey the Prima Donna, and Garciaparra the perennially pouting SS, were MAJOR distractions.

Nice to see Pedro blow the no-no and GAME last night... LOL

Jose Guillen - Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Arizona Diamondbacks, Cincinnati Reds, Oakland A's, Anaheim Angels, Washington Nationals. There's a reason he's played for 7 different teams in the last 7 years.

Pro sports ain't what it used to be.

Neither is college. Everyone likes college sports because they can cheer on their school, but in reality it is very corrupt.

The media did blow his performance out of proportion. He had a decent game.
