I checked as well and he used no such words. But his syntax was NOT British at all and neither was there even a hint of anything English in the post.

Heck, he could have and probably would have called Cindy's squatting place a "hedgerow", were he really an Englishman. See my point? That IS what a Brit would call that off-road place; yet he never did .

I read a lot of English works, too, modern and otherwise.
IMHO: This screed would not seem out of place, syntactically, in the company of articles from the Economist or among passages from much of Kipling's collected body of work.
