"Never elect a dumb broad to do a man's job." I could not disagree with you more. My mother-in-law ran two of the last three Republican Conventions and did so with a much more level head than her male compatriots. I also have seen my wife operate in a crisis better than the men around her. I think that the problem is not that the citizens of Louisiana elected a woman, they just elected the wrong woman.
