"I asked him about the end-of-life decisions, clearly decisions that are gut-wrenching, difficult and extremely personal," she said yesterday. "Rather than talking to me as a son, a husband, a father -- which I specifically requested he do -- he gave a very detached response."

Asked to talk like a man to her, an honest man would have said "thanks for the interest, but unless you have a ten foot poll, I'll be on my way now".

He gave you the correct response Feinstien, like any honorable and serious man (or woman) would do. He did not rise to your sophmoric bait.

He should have said, "OK then, pick my shirts up at the cleaners and have dinner ready by 6:30."

I would have simply said, "Senator, you are not my mother and you are not my wife."

"I knew a woman who ended her life because she was pregnant."

I wonder what the real problem was, that led to her suicide.

"I remember what it was like then when abortion was illegal," she added. "When I was a college student, I watched the passing of the plate to collect money so young women could go to Tijuana for an abortion. I knew a woman who ended her life because she was pregnant."

This woman is SOOOO stuck in the past. I remember when women feminists could get away with talking about pregnancy like it was cancer, not the blessing (albeit sometimes mixed) that it is, and talking about abortion without mentioning the unborn human that they are killing. Nobody ended her life because she was pregnant; they ended their lives because they were mentally imbalanced and preferred a greater shame and sin over a far lesser one.

Feinstein's bottom line is that she was voting for pro-choice Judicial Legislator in her vote, NOT giving proper advice and consent.
