Girls go a little too wild in Olathe during filming of risqué show

Women wishing to raise more than a toast during a filming of Girls Gone Wild could do so Monday, but not inside the Olathe bar where the crew was filming.

Two 20-year-old Blue Springs women found that out when they were arrested for lewd behavior after exposing their breasts inside Radius, a nightspot at 126 S. Clairborne Road.

Girls Gone Wild, a popular set of DVDs, features woman in party settings flashing their breasts. The crew visited Radius as part of its Wild Back to School Tour.

Girls Gone Wild spokesman Bill Horn said filmmakers discourage women from raising their tops inside the bars and clubs on the tour to prevent running afoul local public nudity laws. Instead, women who want to bare themselves on film are asked to step inside the private Girls Gone Wild tour bus.

Horn said the women Monday flashed inside the club despite warnings not to. Otherwise, he said, the event was a success. Meanwhile, Olathe police also made arrests and wrote citations for a dozen other violations ranging from minors with alcohol to illegal license plate tags.
