The Yankees lose the ALDS to the Angels 3 games to 2.
The Yankees have not won a thing since the World Series of October 2000 (days before Hillary was elected Senator from New York).
They lost the 2001 World Series to the Diamondback of Arizona and the 2003 World Series to the Marlins of Florida. Last year they didn't even make the World Series, losing in dramatic fashion to the then-cursed Boston Red Sox.
Maybe New Yorkers will wake up and throw her out of office...if they ever want to win a World Series again.
She's a jinx. Everything she touches turns to sh*t!
ROFLMAO
While I'm a Yankees fan, I can see how this can be viewed by some as a blessing...which sucks on so many levels.
Angels fans to Yankees fans:
Who's your daddy!
The Curse of Hillary, I'm afraid, cannot merely be discarded. It has to be suffered. And if the good people of New York don't wise up, they're going to suffer for a very long time.
It is the considered opinion of both Dickie Morris and Rush that Hillary will not even give New Yorkers the opportunity to turn her out of office.
It's a waste of money and the possibility of a loss on the way to running for President in 2008.
We'll know for sure in about 6 months.
There are thrilled New Yorkers, you know... Mets fans. I'm one of them.
Incidently, the Yankees haven't won the World Series with a Republican president in office since Eisenhower...
Brilliant!! We must get the phrase "The Curse of Hillary" into every news outlet in America. Why are the Yankees now cursed? Because during the 2000 campaign Hillary made the preposterous, asinine assertion that she was a lifelong Yankees fan from her youth in Chicago (she even dared to appear in a Yankees cap on the campaign tour), and the NY media and the NY voters did not extract at least a few pounds of flesh for this ludicrous masquerade. No one could seriously believe Hillary was ever a Yankees fan (or even a baseball fan) before her election-year 'conversion' (and has anyone seen her at a Yankees game since???).
Yes, the Yankees are paying a dear price for the failure to stop the Queen Witch from appropriating the Yankees for her fraudulent campaign. This could well turn out to be as significant as "The Curse of the Bambino." If New York does not get this DONKEY off their backs they may go 86 years without a World Series championship.
p.s. That would make me happy - I'm a Red Sox fan!! Still, I don't wish Hillary upon even my worst enemies and the people of New York deserve to be free of her!
"Curse of Hillary". Love it.
Give me a break. I can't stand her, but her real team is the White Sox and the New York Mets. Cool guys like Guilliani and Jack Nicholson are Yankee fans, like me. The Yankees were all chokers (as usual) in the past few years. They paid millions for pitchers who never did squat all year (I.e. Pavano, Wright, Brown, etc). Their season was saved with minor guys like Wang and Short and Snoop Chacon from the Rockies. There is a lesson there and it means that all the bashing the Yankees get for having such a big payroll is meaningless. If they can't learn from that this year, they are real big time fools.
I know lots of Yankee fans and I've been pushing this Curse idea on them since the 2001 WS.
They scoffed at me.
Hopefully no longer.
Damn Hillary.
This could be a great campaign issue for the candidates who will oppose slick hilly in the upcoming elections.
It's just a joke. Lighten up.
And, once again, Alex Rodriguez disappears when the going it tough...LOSER!!!
I was NOT disappointed when the Rangers got rid of him!
Better put some ice on that.
Bill and Hillary are at the first baseball game of the season. The umpire walks up to the VIP section and says something. Suddenly Clinton grabs Hillary by the collar and throws her over the wall onto the field. The stunned umpired shouts, "No, Mr. President! I said, 'Throw the first PITCH!'"
Not hostile to you. I am just peaved at these over paid chokers again. But in the season they did have some high points.
