LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Police say Ralph Montano Sr. is accused of having inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old female student at Las Cruces High School. The student told detectives Montano had flirted with her while he was substituting at the school last week. The girl said she flirted with him and kissed him on the neck while he was sitting at his desk.
Montano told detectives the girl had initiated the sex act by exposing herself and telling him to touch her.
Court records state that Montano told detectives he wanted to take responsibility for his actions and regretted that it ever happene

A large number of male freepers think there's nothing wrong with an underage boy to engage in sexual activity with a female teacher.
I'm curious to see what those freepers have to say now.

Do a search for: teacher/student/sex and you'll see the usual suspects posting on those threads.
I agree but even without Van Halen, most boys that age would jump (pardon the Van Halen pund) at the chance to be with a hot teacher.
Nobody's saying that it's "healthy" and you know it. All we're saying is that we were once teenage boys and would have dreamed of such a thing happening to us.
Not that it would have made it OK, far from it.

Well, for a lot of boys in high school, any teacher would do.
It isnt about hormones. It is about a teacher being put in a position of trust and violating it. They know the rules before they go in the classroom. It doesnt make any difference which way the gender swings, there is a legal and moral and cultural expectation of behavior in the classroom of public schools. They need to be dealt with according to legal and moral and cultural expectations. The minor in the case needs to be sent to counseling as well.
Yes I know that. I was being sarcastic from what was posted in #7. I've seen this kind of thing posted all the time on threads like these.
I agree with your post. I'm just pointing out the double-standard when it comes to cases like this.

There shouldnt be a double standard. I think you and I are on the same side of this, but if you watch this case, see what NM does with it. The old Patron system will kick in.
