Intelligent design is a topic that Shawn and Brett Slothower avoid in their Dover Township home...The Dover school board race is one of the hottest election races this fall and officals expect polls to be busy in the northwestern area of York County...Voters say intelligent design is not the only issue. Here we go again...the incumbent candidates have a website at doverfirst.net...With nearly five thousand dollars in Pennsylvania State Education Association PAC money already being used against them, not to mention the ACLU lawsuit, the local liberal media, etc. these Republican incumbents face the Democrat Dover CARES candidates on Tuesday. The Dover First candidates are blitzing churches, running radio ads and trying other ways to reach voters between now and Tuesday..The only school district that didn't raise taxes this year in York County was Dover. This board eliminated two administration positions to create two teaching positions. Teachers get an average of over 48-thousand dollars a year with 18-thousand in benefits paid by the taxpayers. PSEA is demanding a 19.1 percent pay increase this year. The board is offering a 4 percent raise with a one percent merit increase possible. The board is asking teachers to pick up 10 percent of their benefits, they now pay for only family members, not themselves. You've heard about intelligent design, but consider this, THE DOVER SCHOOL BOARD IS A RARITY IN PA, A REAL CONSERVATIVE SCHOOL BOARD. I hope the liberals don't take it out.

Who put the bug up Argento's butt? He's really gone off the deep end over this ID thing and anything Bush. I think in his little paranoid world he ties the two together.
I don't know why I get the Daily Record, the Dispatch and the Sunday News. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.
