What in interesting thought I just saw in this post.
As conservatives or libertarians, we would possibly do best to NOT appeal cases to the SCOTUS until we have some reason to think we would win.
If we do bring it to a loser court like we've had for awhile now, they rule against with poor law (if you can call it that), and set bad precedents that future courts would be loathe or hesitant to overrule.
So...hold off till we have a better court. Like, how about until that pro-abort, snake-in-the-grass, lawmaker from Arizona has truly retired!
"It appears that the new Chief Justice, Roberts and the new nominee, Alito are gun rights oriented judges so maybe it is now time to bring that Second Amendment is an individual right case before the SCOTUS."
This is the quote that made that thought come around.
