A better post would be to go there, or do other research, and post the results here, rather than post an open trolling.

The ACLU was founded by Roger Baldwin, Crystal Eastman, Albert DeSilver and others in 1920.
On January 17, 1931, the Special House (of Representatives) Committee to Investigate Communist Activities in the United States issued a report which stated the following:
“The American Civil Liberties Union is closely affiliated with the communist movement in the United States, and fully 90% of its efforts are on behalf of Communists who have come into conflict with the law. It claims to stand for free speech, free press, and free assembly; but it is quite apparent that the main function of the ACLU is to attempt to protect the communists in their advocacy of force and violence to overthrow the Government, replacing the American flag with a red flag and erecting a Soviet Government in place of the republican form of government guaranteed to each State by the Federal Constitution…Roger N. Baldwin, its guiding spirit, makes no attempt to hide his friendship for the communists and their principles.”
Former conservative GOP congressman Bob Barr of Georgia was hired by the ACLU and may still be working there. Also, I believe former GOP House majority leader Dick Armey of Texas did some work for the ACLU.
I believe I heard the reporter George Putnam recall how they started out as the American Communist Lawyers Union decades ago.
Since then, the closest ties they have toward their goals are in common with Democrats and often Libertarians who are social liberals on many issues.
You've asked the wrong question. It is incontrovertible that the ACLU is a communist operation. The question you should ask is if the Democrat Party is also a communist operation.
Actually, it's communist origins make an arm of the communist party.
There's nothing American, civil or liberty-loving about them.
