Democrats Having Lost their Right to the Name are Now Demorats

The Demorats opposed supporting democracy in Vietnam and as a result the North Vietnamese made John Kerry one of their heroes, and then the Demorats elected this traitor as their standard bearer in 2004.

Their mantra for Iraq is the same thing as it was for Vietnam, irrespective of the votes for the war that they now claim they would like to take back. Why do they want to take them back? Because Bush has no right to use their strong arguments against Saddam - of 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 - to actually do the things that would live up to the letter and spirit of those arguments; regime change in Iraq. How dare George Bush fulfill the objectives of their arguments against Saddam. He was supposed to let the problem fester some more until a woman was in the White House.

Murtha's "announcment" was no accident and was not related to any "change of heart" on Murtha's part. He had publicly abandoned his support for the war almost as soon as the ink was dry on his vote for the war.

Murtha's announcement was a calculated manuever by Reid and Pelosi, to increase the volume of their party's antiwar agenda, while the President was overseas and while, they thought, he was "down". Like Vietnam, the Demorats continue to play national power politics with the war, with our soldiers lives and at the grave expense of our national security.

The Demorats cannot be called Democrats any longer. They have lost all right to the name.

They cheered for the communist dictatorship in Vietnam, they delivered Cambodia to Pol Pot and now they want to see the insurgents and the terrorists, not democracy, succeed in Iraq.

They are and must hereafter be referred to by their proper name: DEMORATS.
