Looks like the game's in the bag. ...short of total disaster.
I was kinda hoping that Eli would have a bad day again, because the guy in my fantasy league has him, but the guy benched Eli for Drew Bledsoe (LOL!!) So now I don't care so long as Plastic-OOOO doesn't get any more TDs
Eagles ball at 2 minutes.
Screw prevent defense. Take the ball back!
You guys should have just seen the play in the Squeelers game.
Hines Ward dropped a pass and on his way down, his foot hit the ball and the Ravens intercepted....its being reviewed but the guy caught the ball cleanly
And that's the game.
The Giants defense gave up two offensive touchdowns (first time in three games), but the offense played more than well enough.
Eli Manning: 218 yards, 3 touchdowns, and most importantly...no turnovers.
Tiki and Plaxico also chipped in with +100 yard games on rushing and receiving, respectively.
The scrimmage battle was bit unclear; Eagles got 5 sacks, Giants got none. However, Gibril Wilson picked off McMahon once.
All in all, a satisfying game to wash away the taste of last week's loss.
Dallas beat Detroit, so we're still tied for first in the NFC East at 7-3. However, Washington is, at the moment, losing to Oakland by 3, with only 16 seconds left in the game.
Good game G-Men. Good comeback from last week Eli, and see you all next week.
(snickers at all the Giants fans who wanted Eli to be benched after last week)
Almost forgot the score. XP
Giants - 27
Eagles - 17
Victories-
New York Giants
Dallas Cowboys
New England Patriots
Chicago Bears
Cleveland Browns
Oakland Raiders
Jacksonville Jaguars
Losses-
Philadelphia Eagles
New Orleans Saints
Carolina Panthers
Miami Dolphins
Washington Redskins
Tennesse Titans
The other games are almost done, and round 2 of today's games have begun!
Oh, and one more loss: Detroit Lions to Cowboys.
Pats held on but looked decent throughout most of the game.
Old Crennel still knows how to shut down the Fish.
Hey, we have a running game again, cut down on penalties compared to early in the year. Now if there was only some way to improve the secondary. That's going to kill us.
Now to look at the other Manning; Peyton at Indy/Cincy.
Indy's winnin 7-3.
NFC East Standings
Giants: 7-3
Cowboys: 7-3
Redskins: 5-5
Eagles: 4-6
NFC South Standings
Panthers: 7-3
Buccaneers: 7-3
Falcons: 6-4
Saints: 2-8
The two toughest divisions in the NFC.
Why is this game dragging out so long?
Forget it, I now see it's in overtime..
Next week, we play the Seahawks in their home turf.
I'll be attending the game.
yeah...
well Saban starting Sage Rosenfels really helped too LOL
And they forgot how to run the ball in the 2nd half....
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGH! I don't like thinking that all of my eggs are in one man's basket (Ben), but they are. I'd rather see Randle-El run the option than watch Tommy Touchdooooiiiiinterception run the offense.
Frustrating day! And what the he(( happened to our offensive line?
