If you're going to give us Biblical nudes, you have to give us something spiritual. The lifeless Christ in the Pieta is nearly nude, so laid bare, so powerful. We see the Virgin mourning, we feel her pain, we see the flesh of Christ sacrficed.
And then we have this little gnome in this German caldender... *sigh*
