Why rip yourself when there are hundreds in the gamecube newsgroup and on emule? Got over 100 that way, and they look mighty fine on a 27 inch LCD. I can still recall Nintendo's remarks: "The Gamecube is pirate-proof!".
It's not like you can download a rip, burn it, pop it into your GC and go - there are a few hoops you have to jump through, as you know, which puts it beyond the reach of Joe Sixpack. Nobody, to my knowledge, has successfully cloned a GC disk. And that's more than enough for Nintendo :)
