Viggo Mortensen isn't backing off his stinging critique of George W. Bush.
The Lord of the Rings hottie took some heat from criticizing some of the president's policies, and in a recent interview Mortensen was unrepentant.
'Im not anti-Bush, I'm anti Bush behavior,' Mortensen told Progressive Magazine. 'In other words, I'm against cheating, greed, cruelty, racism, imperialism, religious fundamentalism, treason, and the seemingly limitless capacity for hypocrisy shown by the Bush Adminsitration.'
Mortensen also blasted the adminsitrations handing of Hurrican Katrina and discussed why he supported anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan.
'Cindy Sheehan and how badly Katrina was bungled are two shots to the heart,' he said. 'I hope the beast does fall down soon.'

Progressive Magazine? Was the Weekly Commie not interviewing this week?
Yeah, whatever dude. Now get back to reading your lines!
Acting. It just makes you so wise.
This guys is a putz. Saw him being interviewed for Lord of the Rings
he saw the Villians as the United states and the poor hobbits and humans as Afghani's and Iraqi's
he then went on a rant that we should not have bombed Dresden or Hiroshima
Another Hollywood moron. *yawn*
"Celebrities, is there anything they don't know?"
I wonder if Viggo is against ersatz brick as well?
Another celebrity who thinks his fame makes him smart.
You know what, if this weasel fainted he couldn't find the ground.
This marks the first time I have ever heard someone refer to The Lord of the Rings as a "sucky little art movie that no one wants to see."
LOL, he sounds like a DU conspirazoid!
Viggo? We're supposed to care what someone named "Viggo" has to say?
Liberals are morons and prove it each and every time any of them open their pie-holes.
I don't understand what makes these people think they are qualified to speak on such subjects. I had a discussion with one of my co-workers yesterday on the same subject. I work at a university, and almost daily I'm treated to an op-ed piece in the university paper by a journalism major. When did these people decide they had content knowledge on what they are reporting? It appears who, what, when, why, and how are no longer even taught. They appear to think they are experts on every subject, although a quick glance at most of their editorials proves otherwise.
I meant his other projects, not Peter Jacksons movie.
sometimes I wish I didnt know this stuff about actors I watch...sheesh vig, stfu
Gimli could kick Aragorn's pansy ass any day of the week.
"I'm not a peace activist... I'm a peace ~stylist~" ;~D
Viggo, Viggo... ~shakes head~
Yawn. Viggo is certainly amusing, for the two seconds it takes for him to open his mouth.
I just wish Jackson had cast somebody good and noble as Aragorn in LOTR, not this classless, clueless, oily punk.
