WHO IS GOING TO GO TO THE MOVIES ON A WEDNESDAY WHEN TEENS ARE IN SCHOOL (PREPARING FOR WINTER BREAK) AND ADULTS ARE GETTING OFF OF WORK? (Hmmm...I got laundry, pick the kids up, cook supper...oh yeah! I got time to watch a three-hour remake! NOT!) THIS IS A SUMMER MOVIE, NOT A WINTER MOVIE TRYING TO WIN STUPID ACADEMY AWARDS!

The box office will pick up over the holidays, there is no real competition and all the kids want to see it.
When it comes down to it, people are just plain dumb and gullible. Hollywood knows they'll fall for anything. That's why I have no interest in going to see this movie, except for two questions that have stumped. One is, how the heck did they find a gorilla that big?! And how did they teach him to act?!
