What is the point of the strap that players wear at the front of the bicep on bend of the elbow? I thought it was a sweat band, but they seem to wear even whne they wear sleeves.

No idea. I'm over 40, fat & out of shape, but I sure know what they should be doing.

its to stop sweat from running down your arms (most of the time).

Why they wear it with sleeves I don't know. Fashion perhaps?

What I DO know is that Teddy Ginn is freakin fast.

It is similar to the strap that some athletes use to keep the patella tendon in place just below the knee cap. It actually reduces the pain on the tendon and improves the stability and strength in the knee and lower leg. The strap just below the elbow accomplishes the same thing for the elbow and forearm.
