Can gators get rabies if they eat a rabid animal? As scary as that cat was I would hate to think of what a rabid gator might do.

The rabies virus can infect any mammal. Birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish can not transmit rabies.
I would like to know if mosquitoes can transmit rabies from mammal to mammal.
