Gee. Hurry up and wait, huh?
A friend of mine had jury duty once, and was considered for Gary Gilmore's trial, years ago. She said he scared her so bad, there was no way she wanted to serve on that jury. I have no idea why she was "disqualified," but she was quite relieved.
I move around too much...I keep missing the jury notices...

Nope. It'll be something relatively small if I do anyway; district court gets misdemeanors and the like. One-day trials, or shorter.

No...this was s case in Utah...some guy wrote a book about it called "Executioner's Song." Funny...I can remember the book title but not the author... :o[

If this is the Gary Gilmore I'm thinking of, he was executed in the early 70's.

You have a point there.....;-)
To: Monkey Face
Actually, I'd probably use either a treadle rig for the bellow or an electric. Blacksmiths have a tendancy to either make due with junk or make it themselves. I've heard of people using a hairdryer for a bellows motor in a pinch.
Yeah... Perhaps.
No. I think we have axed that plan for now. We are pretty much decided on having another child, so maintaining the health insurance through my company is kinda mandatory.
We'll see, but we may actually try and find some "investment" property down here. 20-30 acres unimproved in the middle of no where. It'd be perfect for hunting, shooting, and possibly a small building for a forge. ;-)

Thank you honey.
She's not better but at least she's stable.

BS degree? Yep. Computer Science. Figured I'm already working in the field, may as well get the sheepskin to prove I know what I'm doing.
