Thanks :) That is Ivy Mike in the late phase of fireball formation. The fireball is THREE MILES wide. The clouds surrounding it are condensation clouds left behind the shock wave, which by that stage, has flattened an area as wide as Manhattan is long (about 15 miles).

Ivy Mike is the first thermonuclear weapon using the Teller Ulam design where the heat from the fission part of the weapon, called the Primary, causes an implosion of thermonuclear fuel in seperate stage called the Secondary. Its yield was 10.4 Megatons. roughly 800 times more powerful than the 20 kiloton bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
