Well, here it is... The new thread format. I hope you all like it.
However, I do need some help getting it completed.
Format Changes:
1. New Logo: Suggestions are welcome... Please let me know if you have a better idea for the motto.
2. New thread frequency is now monthly, with gamer table updates on the fly as needed.
All tables are now housed on my profile page with direct links to them in the thread,
so the only time a new thread will be needed is when several new games have been added.
Yes, its an extra click for you, but I think its worth having more timely table updates.
3. Pinging frequency: A global ping will be sent monthly relaying traditional info.
Weekly pings (if warranted) will be sent to only those gamers affected by ongoing changes
relevant to their games listed. (i.e. new gamers have been added to game x ping list)
4. Game Site Links added: Please check the gamesite links and let me know of any changes that are needed.
5. Sequels and Expansion Packs: Some games with sequels/expansions were previously combined to minimize thread clutter
such as Call of Duty, City of Heroes/Villians, Diablo/D2, Medal of Honor, etc. With this format, it is no longer an issue.
I have already tried to segregate players as best I could, but I need your help to refine it and bring it up to date.
Please check your listings, and let me know if I need to add or remove you to/from a sequel or expansion table.
6. Voice Servers: I have found that voice does add a lot to online gaming, so I've added a new
column to the game tables specifically for voice server info.
Please let me know if you have any public voice servers you would like listed.
7. Because we are now a monthly thread, our exposure is reduced. This makes ping referrals even more important.
Hopefully, these upgrades will make the thread more attractive, but we still need to keep getting the word out.
