I went to a Southern Baptist college and the school newspaper printed a letter to the editior from a guy who was saying that the women at our school weren't submissive to men like the Bible said they should be. The reponse from the editingteam was that the guys at school weren't acting like men, forcng the women to not be submissive. I thin it was a case of, there are good women out there, the guy in question just wasn't attracted to them.

I believe alot of the growth of the gay community has to do with women and their unbelievable expectations on men in relationships

There hasn't been any growth, just large quantities of PR over the last decade. The numbers are still: Gay 1.75% of males Lesbian 1.56% of females

Someone is bound to get confused about which one to gunfight.

John Wayne as Gunga Din.....

Okay, we're going to raid the village again so listen closely. We're going to kill the men, round up the sheep, and rape the women, AND LETS GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME!

I can't see that at all. Either you're attracted to someone, or you're not. And us men are eternal optimists. One woman may be horrible, but we always have hope the next one will be different.

I don't think there's been any growth at all in the number of gay men. Just more of them "coming out", and a great deal of publicity by the media trying to create the impression that the numbers are greater than they are.

God the Chronicle is a disgusting rag. Worst newspaper in America, or at least outside of New York. But I repeat myself.

I agree Hildy.

I know a lot of women who do nothing but stand around and complain about their husbands. Incessantly. He doesn't do this for me, he doesn't do that for me, he isn't this, he isn't that. Man haters, through and through. Mean and spiteful to the core.

The sad part is that I have had the opportunity to hear what the men say about their wives...and more often than not, they are appreciative, concerned and supportive. While I don't know what they behave like at home, they are certainly loyal in public. A rash generalization as well I'm sure, but a striking difference in behavior at the least.

In any case, society has devolved to a point where it is perfectly fine to unfairly and aggressively dog everything male, while putting women on some kind of ridiculous pedestal of perfection.

Well, I'm a girl, and I hate to break it to the world...but we can be real petty whining shrews. And that man that you complain about? Well, he may just be one of the best things that ever happened to you. Shut up and LISTEN to the poor guy. You may just learn a thing or two.

Wait, I thought prostitution was illegal everywhere except Nevada, and this guy is announcing his work as a gigolo in Los Angeles in a major newspaper? Am I missing something?

Yeah, describing this...this..whatever as a "gigolo" is being much too kind!

First there is this movie called Brokeback Mountain about a couple of confused cowboys. Just wait, next there will be one called Tenderloin Valley about a sheep rancher.

John Gibson was talking about Brokeback Mountain on his radio show tonight, and he says that it's #1 in the nation. Good grief, are there really that many sick minded people out there?

Kiran absolutely loved this film, and made the ridiculous statement that there was no gay agenda in the movie and that she wasn't pushing the gay agenda just because she liked the movie!!!! Spoken like a true loonie lib! How many more left-wing Democrats is Fox going to push in our faces?

Let me make a prediction that this movie will put gay marriage at the forefront of the 2008 Presidential election.
