It's half Pomeranian, half poodle. It appears the new thing is to mix poodles with different dogs. I believe they are called "designer dogs". They come out very different depending on what kind of poodle and what kind of Pomeranian are bred. Plumpy appears to be more Pomeranian than poodle but is bigger. He's a real mommy's boy and a bit of a sissy. Sprout's a Lakeland, just like Bean, but he's a big old grump and more of a daddy's boy. They are both entertaining to watch but have tired me out. My husband says I worry about them to much but I, of course, think he doesn't worry about them enough. LOL

A local radio show was recently talking about labradoodle's. I had never heard of them until then, but it is a labrador/poodle mix. The dj's asked if they could mix a cocker, poodle and lab and call it a cock a doodle poo? The trainer said there already is one. :) Evidently because poodles don't shed the breeders are trying to mix that with other breeds. Better for allergies/ :)
