I saw the last ten minutes of that game and I almost had a heart attack (and I'm not a fan of either team!)

"...but a heart attack is taking it a little far."<>p> "If he is telling the truth, he needs to get a life." Yins never been to Picksburgh deurin' football season, has ya? "Steelers" is pronounced "Stillers." "Saturday" is pronounced "Saerday," and is defined as "The day before the Stiller's game."

"Saturday" is pronounced "Saerday," I'm still getting used to Midwestern-speak. Down South, It's "Satdy." : )

The awesome part of that play was that Rothlisberger ran backwards after handing the ball off to be in position in case of a disaster.
Kind of ironic...Cowher's solid coaching and fundamental play design saved himself from his own inevitable playoff coaching error.
Of course the refs tried in vain to get superstar peyton to the next round.

I told a friend of mine, that when the ref ducked under the cover to watch the interception replay, a shot of of Paul Tagliabue came on saying < bill lumberg voice >, "Ummmmmm, yeeeeaaaahhh...we reaallllly need for this NOT to be an interception, okay?"

I was working and had the game on the radio, just wish I had a camera. I thought some of the kids I was working with would pass out, when they head this.
And we are in Detroit!!!!!

Running that play wasn't a coaching error, there was still lots of time on the clock and Indy had all their timeouts, going for the TD would have functionally ended the game by restoring the two score lead, kneeling would have resulted in a FG and giving Indy the ball back with about 1:00 and only 6 points behind. When in crunch time put the ball in the hands of your best player, and don't call passes or anything that might go out of bounds (make Indy call a timeout if you don't get the TD).

Thats arguable...With his track record if Harper makes the end zone and the Colts win it's bye bye Bill.
