Anti-nude law KOd by Fla. court

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Let's get naked! A federal judge struck down Daytona Beach's anti-nudity laws, saying they're unconstitutional.

Regulations prohibiting public nudity and nudity in places that sell alcohol violate the First and 14th amendments' protections of free speech and equal protection, the judge decided.

Daytona Beach also failed to prove its claim that adult nightclubs create secondary negative impacts on levels of crime, prostitution and illegal drug activity in neighborhoods, the judge wrote.

"We won on every single issue," said Daniel Aaronson, a lawyer representing Lollipops Gentleman's Club in its federal lawsuit.

Public nudity has been an issue at some Daytona Beach gatherings, such as Biketoberfest and Spring Break.

City officials said they're considering an appeal.

Myrtle Beach is going the opposite direction. They have new ordinances against this type thing. They say that outdoor "parking lot" clubs shouldn't exist because the general public that rides by and sees this behavior may have children or be offended.
The second week of May and October at MB is dedicated to bikers (500,000 of us)and the entire city is transformed to accommodate them.
Now of course, "Pam" an "Steve Burkowitz" with their little twins "Kayla" and "Katlyn" have just as much right to be their as the bikers do but I think it is bad judgment for them to bring the kids on family vacation during bike week. If they see something they don't want to see, oh well. The city is not going to turn down that much revenue to please the "Burkowitz"

I was at the mall the other day eating at the food court. I noticed an old man watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. The old man kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find the old man staring every time. When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life? The old man did not bat an eye in his response, "Got drunk
once and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son."
