Off the top of my head, the list is missing:
Curt Schilling
Andy Pettitte
Roger Clemens
Tiki Barber
Wayne Newton
Bo Derek
Suzanne Summers
"The Rock"
Heather Locklear
Kathy Ireland
Dolly Parton
Faith Hill
Angie Harmon
Cherryl Ladd
Kim Alexis

& The entire PGA Tour with the exceptions of Greg Norman & Vijay Singh.

For obvious reasons, I am more familiar with female celebrites than males.

I LOVE Tom Selleck! He IS Owen Wister's "The Virginian." I have read that book many times, over many decades. It was only in the past few years that it occurred to me that everything about The Virginian -- his size and complexion, his gentleness, his humor, his humility, his intellegence, his good manners, his way as a leader of men, his courage, his respect for women, and how extremely dramatic, wild, and handsome he looks in full cowboy garb (read the book, if you haven't) -- is totally, completely Tom Selleck. He IS The Virginian.

Just watched Quigly Down Under the other night and enjoyed it immensely, as always ... my favorite line:

"This ain't Dodge City and you ain't Bill Hickock."

BE SURE to rent or find a little movie Selleck made called "Ruby Jean and Joe." It's my dad's all-time favorite movie. It's a sweet, totally Tom Selleck flick.

I used to think CZJ was the most beautiful woman in the world, but the thought of her & noted "sex addict" Michael Douglas together just skeeves me out.

Whenever I see her, I think of the Adam Sandler's line to his ex-girlfriend in "Big Daddy:"

"You'll be missing me when you have that big white wrinkly body on top of you with his loose skin and old... balls... gross!"

Hi Jonny. Gag me, indeed. What a mess the Hollyweird of 2006 will make of Magnum. There will be the obligatory gay guy. The obligatory hard-as-nails chick. The obligatory Leftist shorts-in-a-wad about war. What a waste.

BTW, Jonny. I've been whining lately about the lack of hunky real guys on AI. Tom Selleck is the epitome what I'm talking about. I just am floored that he'll turn 61 this coming Sunday.

*swoon*

What a waste.

Especially since Tom Selleck is willing to reprise his role--and the fans WANT to see him in the role.

This is idiocy!

But on the plus side, this movie will be another nail in Clooney's coffin :)

I hope so. I never liked Clooney. If we're lucky, they'll cast Julia Roberts in this turkey and her career will crash and burn right along with Clooney's.

Julia who? :)

With Clooney involved, and with the characters being "war veterans", you know they'll work some leftist crap into the storyline. Clooney will probably insist on it.

Ah, yes, John Hillerman. Played Higgins to perfection. All four of the original main characters are still alive and could be brought back if someone came up with an intelligent script for one final Magnum case. But today's Hollyweird doesn't have the imagination.

BTW, next to drooling over Tom, I'm a big fan of Higgins' Dobermans. ;-)

Undoubtedly.

I walked into my local Time-Warner office the other day and canceled all the premium movie channels I had subscribed to. Pointless and expensive.

The Lads, Zeus and Apollo? :)

BTW, you can hear the classic Magnum theme song if you click the link below. (Betcha it won't be included in Clooney's flick.)

I don't blame you. I only keep the Encore movie package because I love the Western Channel :)

The lads...sigh. I rescued a Dobe once and he lived with me for about 10 years before passing away. He looked a lot like the dog in the foreground in that photo, except that he was a red Dobe. Naturally, I gave him a most imaginative name -- Red. Thanks also for the link to the theme song.
