I guess I also have to agree with you.

The SKS is a viable, less expensive alternative to the AK. I like mine a lot (all milled parts). It has never given me a minute's trouble and is "tolerable accurate" up to about 200 yards, especially for such an inexpensive ($125) rifle.

yup...loads of fun for what amounts to basically a "disposable" rifle...
And I've never broken a part with 1000's of rounds through at least two of them.
These are the only surplus guns I use regularly. The rest I have for curiosity sake hence the C&R lic. I figured I could save some $$ buying old rifles just so they could sit in my safe!
