Maybe she's on a diet....

Do the other 2 know she's mouthing off again? I mean there's the one that never talks and then the other one (which would be the always pregnant one).....

What made the Dixie Chicks work was a modern sound based around the traditional country and bluegrass sounds of the fiddle and the banjo and dobro. There was a touch of novelty to that.

They also got some access to good songs thanks to their unique sound.

One of the character traits of these hicks that this idiot has defamed is a sense of compassion and forgiveness that is ingrained in us through church and our up bringing.

Burning that bridge is so stupid of her!!

Maines says she's finished with the genre and is none too pleased with the fans, basically labeling them as redneck hicks.

Which was the reason you lost your fans in the first place chubs.

We put up with you trashing Toby Keith, we put up with you trashing the President but when you posed in a PeTA ad then had it pulled because your fans were a bunch of "redneck hicks" you lost us. We bought your stinking products and we deserved something from you besides contempt.

So I baked your CD's (they looked like big silver potato chips) and sent them off to the Country station with the vow that should I ever hear you on the airwaves I would promptly turn the station off.

Now you think you are going to "cross over" guess what chubs, that only works if you have a solid fan base that will follow you.

Say hi to Chris Gaines.

I never liked her anyway.

From CMT.com

Never one to mince words, Natalie Maines has once again shared her views -- this time, about returning to country music.

In an interview in the Jan. 31 issue of Entertainment Weekly, she says she's grateful for "The Incident" -- when
she told a London audience that she was "ashamed" that President Bush is from Texas -- and that she has no regrets about the consequences, including the unofficial end to the Dixie Chicks' career in country music.

"I would be cheating myself and not setting a good example for my children to go back to something that I don't wholeheartedly believe in. So I'm pretty much done. They've shown their true colors. I like lots of country music, but as far as the industry and everything that happened ... I couldn't want to be farther away from that," she tells the magazine.

As for Bush's second term, she says, "I used to try and make sense of it, but when Bush got reelected, I just didn't know what to do. Keep livin'. It's gotta change back."

The Dixie Chicks are expected to release a new album in April, their first since Maines spoke out against Bush in 2003. A tour is also said to be in the works.
