Yes, one of my investment sites kicks me off because of Firefox and they told me their system did not allow Firefox. As soon as I mentioned it, they knew about the problem with Firefox. I have to use Internet Explorer on their site.

Perhaps it is the company that is incompatible and not your computer.

It sounds like the site has a Javascript browser sniffer program that fails to open in the Fire Fox browser.

Browser sniffer scripts are very old hat, meant to ensure that the user supports scripts that include CCS and Layers. The script used to launch an alert box telling you to update your browser or install both IE and Netscape.

The sit is funky and contains crappy code. A GUI nightmare.

Either that or Bill is paying companies off to block Fire Fox.
