I thought I read on Drudge earlier in the day that this Super Bowl had a less share of viewers than last year.

A lot of Packer fans tuned in just to see Mike Holmgren. Some rooting for him to win, some to see him lose.

I have a hard time believing this. I went out at 1/2 time to restock and the roads in my area were packed with traffic. Obviously, if everybody's on the road, they're not home watching the Bowl. Either that, or everybody was makin a mad dash for the beer store like me.

looks like lots of people witnessed the worst national anthem, worst officiating, worst half-time performance and worst game in history.

And in the followup we're witnessing the biggest bunch of sniveling crybabies in the history of Free Republic!

Keep banging your cowbell! It's bringing all kinds of attention to your cause. Selected-not-elected! Recall-the-reffs! Recount-Ohio!

LOL

well there you go man :)

I actually watched the final hour of the pregame (although I would switch the input and listen to it as I played PlayStation) and 95% of the game but I missed the Halftime show entirely.

Maybe you thought Aaron Neville was the good, maybe you thought The Strolling Bones were good, maybe you havent noticed all the controversy today in the media about the officials, and maybe you didnt notice the team with the better stats were made to be the loser. Roethlisberger worst QB rating in Super Bowl History for a team that was called the winner.

...a team that was called the winner.

There it is! "Selected, not Elected."

And "the team with the better stats were made to be the loser?" That's the same as "Al Gore won the exit polls, so the real vote count is wrong."

Get a life.

14 of Pits 21 points were off bad calls. Bens TD non-TD, Randel El TD pass that should have been Seattle 1st & goal + Seattle had 14 points subtracted so thats 28 points against Seattle, oh yea they should have to overcome that! Since when does the underdog have to overcome a 28 deficit by the officials? And pit fans are complaining about a polamalu int in the indy game! Sheesh maybe they need some perspective.
