I agree. I used to be a big Steelers fan but I felt guilty rooting for them last night. My husband felt the same way. I just wonder how the Steelers fans would feel if the refs had called a bunch of bad calls against the Steelers. I don't blame the Steelers. I blame the refs.
I don't blame the Steelers either - they played a great game too. And maybe Seattle still would have lost. I'm just really disappointed in the refs is all.
sorry,i agree that the refs stunk...but what the Seahawks did was anything but a "fine game".
The Seahawks stunk up the place...and they were joined by the Steelers.
I dont have a dog in this one, but neither team really looked like a Champion team out there..both looked like a team in week two of the season.
I dont really feel bad for the hawks though, they blew too many opportunities to place the blame entirely on the refs...no matter how bad the refs were.
Well we know what Joey Porter of the Steelers said after being on the losing end of 1 (albeit very) bad call in a game they WON:
""I know they wanted Indy to win this game," Porter said after the game. "The whole world loves Peyton Manning, but come on man, don't take the game away from us. "I felt they were cheating us. When the interception happened, everybody in the world knew that was an interception. Don't cheat us that bad. When they did that, they really want Peyton Manning and these guys to win the Super Bowl. They are just going to straight take it for them. I felt that they were like 'We don't even care if you know we're cheating. We're cheating for them.' "

LOL, oops, so much for this thread! (BTW, I agree with your sentiments. It isn't the Steeler players' fault, and they just had the most amazing playoff run in the history of the NFL.)
Really. Did you watch the game?
