Actually your link shows the same thing, the ball just crossing the line. You are ASSUMING those two photos are of the same INSTANT -- they are not. The first photo clearly shows the defneder and Roth seperated. RIth went forward another few inches and so did the defender. They then hit shoulder to shoulder -- an action which caused Rothlesbergers arm to swing slightly forward and also to open up -- allowing as both your link and this picture show, a clear few of the ball about 1-2 inches over the goal line.

This is just getting funny now. So in the second picture, the part labeled as Ben's glove----what is it actually? And the huge white patch isn't his right wristband? And the football is just being pushed in front of Ben----because clearly there is no arm around that large, elbowish football that you see.

The first picture completely refutes the idea that the second picture shows the football, and not Ben's elbow, going across the goalline.
