up till a couple of years ago, I would always go to Waxahatchie, Tx to the Gryphon Motorcycle club annual chili cookoff and participate as a contestant.
I never won, but almost always placed. Some real good chili there and the event is usually in october.

The Red Raider gets to the Pearly Gates and wants in, the Gatekeeper says "Well you have to pass a test first".
The Raider say O.K. What is it?
The Gatekeeper says "Spell God"
The Raider says "That's easy- G-o-d"
Gatekeeper "come on in!"
