I DID get the forest-ranger type - with an Australian Shepherd.
He is very tolerant of children and can fix your car, your air conditioner, your washer/dryer, and build your deck.
Can't spell worth a darn,though.

My wife loves flannel. Often times, while in bed at night, she'll reach over and start rubbing my back saying how she loves the feel of flannel. The bubble gets burst when I explain that I'm not wearing a shirt.

Maybe you should just let her have her fantasy!

I have an Aussie, too! Best dog in the world... especially if you don't mind fur everywhere!

No kidding, you have an Aussie? What color? Mine is a blue merle with copper. She's our third one. Our second, a male, went champion! He's no longer with us though.

Black-tri. He has good lines (Quail Run), but his hips only OFAd as fair, so we convinced the breeder to let us neuter him. I did some agility with him before our youngest came around, but he's just a big old homebody now. Smart, sweet, gentle, patient -- wonderful dog. The new puppy keeps pestering the poor guy, but she's getting him more active again, which is good.

Wrong. If it were a troll the mouse saw, the mouse would be zotting, not running. Funny animation, though.

Maybe the mouse saw the Viking Kitties coming after the troll!

I'd like to have a black-tri one day...so far all three Aussies have been blue merle. We worked the first one when hubby and I lived on a farm and he was in charge of the feedlot full of cows. She was beautiful to watch. The second one we had in Buckhead in Atlanta, and he would herd my daughter and her friends from one end of the back yard to the other end. Funny to watch.
