"The Insider"'s MARC MALKIN has confirmed to ET that SHERYL CROW underwent surgery for minimally invasive breast cancer on Wednesday. A spokesperson for Crow says that doctors confirm her prognosis as excellent and that she will receive radiation treatment as a precaution. Crow's spokesperson added that, "with much regret, she must postpone her complete tour of North America which was scheduled for March/April," but that it is her "intention to reschedule as much of the tour as reasonably possible."

I concur.
Hope she recovers quickly.
I don't care much for her politics, but then again, I don't much care for my sister's either, but I still love her.
Cheryl's music is alright. I'm not a huge fan, but it's decent.
I said the same thing when Melissa Etheridge was diagnosed with breast cancer: courage, Sheryl.
Add this to her recent break up with Lance, and I really feel for her. I hope she knows that God never gives up more than we can handle.
I concur. She will be in my thoughts along with anyone affected by breast cancer, patients as well as families.
Aye.
Ditto that. And I generally like her music.
I do often wonder how these lib celebs would feel about how their medical conditions would be treated in nations with rationed, socialized medicine systems.
My guess, is that alot fewer of them would be alive, especially with conditions that require rapid, aggresive care, like cancer.
Ditto that. I don't wish cancer on anyone.
Me too. Laura's "Shut Up And Sing" book comes to mind.......
So, you think Lance left her because she had breast cancer. Man that would be low.
No, not at all. But the irony is amazing, considernig Lance survived cancer and now his ex fiancee will be battling it too.
My mother is a breast cancer survivor, and though we're very like-minded politically, I draw the line (with VERY few exceptions) when it comes to matters like these.
So best wishes to Sheryl in her fight. Hope she kicks its ass.
Yes, that's what I meant.
I'm sure Lance will make a statement about it at some point. Sheryl refers to his LiveStrong foundation in her statement.
Wow. She's really young to be getting breast cancer. =(
A girl at work had it at 24. Every woman in her family had it so they did a radical mastectomy and removed both her breasts. I'm not sure what the statistics are on age and breast cancer, but it seems to strike when it wants.
I like her. I've got a couple of her cd's. I hope she gets better. Prayers.
