Willis Is Mad As Hell...
MSN ^ | Feb. 24, 2006 | msn

Perhaps it's his age or maybe it was the two-and-a-half feet of snow that blanketed Manhattan the night before, but Willis pretty much defined the term "loose cannon" when appearing before the press to discuss his movie "16 Blocks" a few weeks ago. Warner Bros. had to be a tad disheartened that he didn't spend much time talking about his fine performance in Richard Donner's new thriller. Instead, Willis had a ball discussing a number of other topics, such as politics. Willis has identified himself as a Republican in the past, and before a journalist could even ask for his opinion on recent current events, the star interrupted him to set something straight.

"I'm sick of answering this [expletive] question," he says. "I'm a Republican only as far as I want a smaller government, I want less government intrusion. I want them to stop [expletive] on my money and your money and tax dollars that we give 50 percent of... every year. I want them to be fiscally responsible and I want these [expletive] lobbyists out of Washington. Do that and I'll say I'm a Republican... I hate the government, OK? I'm a-political. Write that down. I'm not a Republican." --Snip--

The next thing we know, Willis has segued into a rant about disgraced author James Frey and the dress-down Oprah Winfrey recently gave him on her TV show.

"[To have Frye be] sucker punched on Oprah by one of the most powerful women in television just to grind [her] own ax," Willis says visibly frustrated. "Oprah, you had President Clinton on your show, and if this [expletive] didn't lie about a couple of things, I'm going to set myself on fire right now. James Frey's a writer, he can write whatever he wants. It's shameful how he was treated."

The greedy, power-mad, free-spending, control-freak Republican Party of Big Stupid Government hates people like this. Bush Jr. isn't going to like this a bit.

You must know by now that George W. Bush is not a junior.

You must know by now that George W. Bush is not a junior.

He's a junior of his daddy in every meaningful way: same old Big Stupid Government crap, gigantic spending increases, stupid programs, assaulting free speech, sucking up to Clintons - the whole professional-politician package.

How's that "limited government" thingie coming along, Republicans?

Big difference between a Free Republican and a Domesticated Republican.. theres a term for domesticated ones..

Big Government Republicans are Democrats in disguise..
Probably Union Members of some sort.. cause if Unions LOVE anything its Big Government for thats who protects them.. Theres no all powerful Unions in India and China.. yet..

Rant Hank. Rant.

It's what I do, and it's a decent living.

Has anyone started a betting-pool thread on how much of our money Bush will give away while in India?

$7.5 Billion is my guess, as the first down-payment on his generosity with our money.

Willis campaigned for Grey Davis over Schwarzenegger, so his credibility in his claims isn't too high.

What a double standard. George Clooney rants and the press calls him "socially conscious." Bruce Willis rants and the press calls him a "loose cannon."

What do you expect from someone that has never had to worry about money and made most of his money off the Texas Rangers who would have never existed if not for the public welfare money provided by the taxpayers.

George looks saintly compared to Neil Bush. That guy is a character.

Now there is talk about Jeb Bush running for president? No thanks.

How's that "limited government" thingie coming along, Republicans?

It's carefully stored on a shelf in the storage room of the RNC, ready to be dusted off and used in early November.

But, Bruce is right, err, correct. The biggest difference is that Willis says conservative stuff and will pay the price by not getting all the movie deals, then says if you don't like it, so what.

The lefties spill verbal diarhea and get the movies and then complain because the people won't pay to see thier movies.
