I've never tried making gloves. How do you do the fingers? Do you use tiny doublepointed needles?

What I like about felting is that you can knit or crochet and it comes out looking great. I found a felted crochet book that has come cute projects in it. I tried two of the purse patterns. Once they are felted (in the washing machine) you can't tell if they were knitted or crocheted. I was happy about that because I'm a better crocheter than knitter.

There are a bunch of free felted hat patterns online. http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/hats.php

Fingers are just like thumbs. IMO, it's tedious with gloves, instead of two thumbs, you have 10 little circles to do. Yes, dps are used.
