I couldn't really get the tone of this article. It could be read two ways. Either he really is drooling over Ms. Hilton and falling all over his tongue, OR he's being sarcastic and biting and satirical, but just being so subtle the message is getting lost. It could go either way, depending on the read.
How dare he compare her to Monroe, though. This vapid tramp has nothing on the Original Blonde Bombshell.
