Puff daddy: Cigar roller is the light of the party
Jean Patteson Sentinel Staff Writer Posted March 10 2006
Something happens to a guy when he puffs on a cigar. He becomes, well, puffed-up.
It's a subtle change, but real. His chest swells, his chin lifts. Even his voice seems to take on an added resonance as he makes his pronouncement: "Hmmm. Nice draw. Very smooth."
It's as if the cigar bestows upon him -- or her, if a woman is doing the puffing -- a certain elan, an insouciance, that wasn't there before.
Cigars also lend a special ambience to an occasion, an air of opulence and celebration. That's why the Sosa family, which has been making and selling cigars for generations, decided to go one step further. The family now hires out their cigar rollers to perform their time-honored craft at conventions and theme parties, weddings and anniversaries.

I'm getting a vibe that Jean doesn't know much about/like her subject.

Good prices, all the brands most people like
Suggestion. If you enjoy the series R you might want to try a Joya de Nicaragua. I don't smoke that size but they make a 4.75 x 60, and these are the same kind of sticks one gives out to competition when playing golf.
I have made almost all of my cigar purchases from jrcigar.com. I made a few from momscigars.com a few years ago. I recently heard that phatash.com is a good source.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the recomendation. Always happy to try another cigar.
Also check out Two Guys in NH. Great selection. www.2guyssmokeshop.com
Also, SJ out of Philly. www.sjcigars.com
A cigar roller is a great addition to an outdoor cocktail party or high end barbeque. It's like having a bartender, except for stogies.
If you get a chance, I have found these to be a great smoke:
Camacho Diploma
CAO Brazila Anaconda
PADRON 2000
The CAO Brazil is a good one. I've smoked the Padron 3000 and like it. The Equus line will be available end of the year, very good cigar yet not as strong as I prefer.
