We live way out in the country and when we first moved here, we had dozens of cats around the place...it was really, really bad. I went to the neighbor up the road and down the road; nope, none of em fessed up to owning any cats. So I got up real early one Saturday morning, got a small stool in the bed of my pickup, loaded up the .17HMR Savage Model 93 varmint rifle and commenced to dispatching 27 rounds of 20 grain Hornady XTP over about a 4 hour period. The end result was 27 dead cats ranging from scarred up toms just over 30lbs on down to young ones. Loaded em all up in the front end loader, took em down to the bayou and dumped in for the gators to feast on...... Come to find out, people from the "city" come out here and dump em off.....real nice way to deal with their problem making it my problem. I solve my problems.....
