We have some really low life "rouge" cops here in Alabama We have them all over. Currently, I am facing a 5 yr felony for driving my wife's car in which she had a 105 gram container of cs/pepper spray in the glove box--her dad gave it to her 22 years ago. In Michigan, the legal limit is 35 grams...little did we know.
I will never again be cooperative with Law Enforcement. The term protect and serve is now officially a fallacy IMHO...

You've just experienced how today's zero-tolerance, no-judgment-applied law enforcement can cause good citizens to completely lose faith in the system and become hostile.
As I've said before, I miss Peace Officers.

On the one (an dmost important) hand, that totally stinks.
On the other, your legitimate beef is with the prosecutor and the dopes (and the dopes who voted for them) who wrote that law, not with the cops.

If you are in SE MI, then I can relate. The area is filled with revenue enhancers working on behalf of the state. If you make a good income, expect the State to do everything in their power to dessimate you. If you were poor with no money to steal, your case would have been dismissed already.
